Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of teaching or related industry experience required.
• Certification, licensing, or accreditation in Carpentry required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on carpentry instruction and career technical training.
• Prepare students for industry-recognized certifications and employment opportunities.
• Develop engaging lessons that support student learning and skill development.
• Provide individualized guidance, mentoring, and career support.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Help students identify job opportunities and support graduate placement efforts.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive classroom/shop environment.

• Partner with departments across Center to support student success.
