Responsibilities

• Develops and administers the 3rd-grade science curriculum aligned with the school's goals.
• Promotes a classroom environment that supports hands-on scientific exploration and collaboration.
• Plans inquiry-based lessons and activities including experiments and observational studies.
• Assesss student learning and adapts instruction to meet diverse needs, including students with special needs.
• Instructs students in laboratory safety and foundational citizenship principles.
• Maintains accurate records of student achievement and attendance.
• Engages parents with updates on science projects and classroom events.
• Collaborates with the 3rd-grade team to align curriculum and participate in meetings.
• Selects and requisitions appropriate science books, lab materials, and equipment.
