Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a team member for an early morning shift in the Philadelphia area. You will move packages, documents and supplies using scan/load methods in a safe, timely manner. This is a non-driving position with responsibilities that may include handling dangerous goods when required.

The role requires physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and to work in varying weather conditions. Drug test is part of the posting; set shift Tue-Sat and start times around 2–3 AM.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level.
• Able to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours and to bend/squat as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level and ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Able to walk and stand for designated work hours. Able to bend and squat for designated work hours. Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level. Ability to maneuver packages in enclosed spaces and stack packages above one’s head if required at location. Able to work in all weather conditions if required at work location. Able to climb stairs and ladders if required at work location. Able to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training. The ability to communicate both timely and effectively, in a noisy operations environment, is required.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Pay Range:

Additional Posting Information: Early Morning Shift - Tue to Sat (2AM to 8AM & 3AM to 9AM). Pay rate: 19.47/hr; Drug Test Required
