Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Irvine, CA is seeking a part-time Operations Associate to move packages, documents, and supplies using scan/load methods. This is a non-driving role performed on-site.

You will work Monday to Friday 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with pay between $19.78 and $26.75 per hour, and may receive benefits such as medical/dental/vision coverage and education assistance after probation.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours; able to bend and squat.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level and ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Able to walk and stand for designated work hours. Able to bend and squat for designated work hours. Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level. Ability to maneuver packages in enclosed spaces and stack packages above one’s head if required at location. Able to work in all weather conditions if required at work location. Able to climb stairs and ladders if required at work location. Able to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training. The ability to communicate both timely and effectively, in a noisy operations environment, is required.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Pay Range:

$19.78 - $26.75/hr

• Full-time employees are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and/or vision coverage and participate in Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) on their date of hire.
• Part-time employees who have completed 91 days of employment and worked an average of at least 17 hours per week are also eligible for these benefits.
• Employees may receive up to $5,250 per calendar year in educational assistance for tuition and other approved education expenses after completing 90 continuous days of employment.
