Job summary

Global K9 Protection Group LLC in Seattle seeks a Handler Training Lead to oversee field training and certification for handlers and canines. This full-time, hourly role focuses on developing training standards, scheduling sessions, mentoring staff, and maintaining detailed records to ensure top performance.

You will mentor teams, monitor K9 proficiency, and coordinate training activities while ensuring TSA policies and GK9 protocols are strictly followed.

Qualifications

  • K9 Instruction and training leadership for handlers and canines
  • Oversee K9 behavior adjustment and ongoing monitoring
  • Coordinate field practice events and update policies and procedures
  • Maintain training logs and records for all K9 teams
  • Ensure TSA certification standards and compliance for GK9 handlers
  • Develop and implement training standards and updates
  • Mentor, train, and monitor handler and K9 proficiency
  • Manage scheduling and logistics for training sessions
  • Conduct internal audits and compliance checks
  • Coordinate and manage local proficiency training

Global K9 Protection Group LLC is looking for a dedicated and passionate Handler Site Trainer to serve as an integral part of the GK9PG Team.

  • Maintaining and ensuring TSA Certification standards and proficiency for Global K9 Handlers and their canines.
  • Development and implementation of training standards and updates,
  • Coordinate field practice events and develop and update policies and procedures.
  • Implementation of training procedures.
  • Coordinate and manage local proficiency training.
  • Compliance of all GK9PG Policies and Procedures, TSA Policies as related to CCSPK9
  • Manage training logs of all K9 team progression.
