G-III Apparel Group seeks an Associate Merchandiser for DKNY Handbags in New York City. The role supports seasonal merchandising, assortment planning, and cross-functional product execution while ensuring successful development and commercialization of the DKNY Handbags business.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, with strong analytical and communication skills, and a passion for fashion. Collaboration with Sales, Design, Product Development, Production and Planning is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in fashion merchandising or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant merchandising, buying, planning, or product management experience.
• Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Analytical skills to interpret sales data and wholesale metrics.
• Experience with PLM, AS400, or similar merchandising systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support the seasonal merchandising calendar and deadlines across the product lifecycle.
• Analyze sales performance, customer feedback, trends and market insights to inform assortment strategies.
• Monitor handbag trends and competitive landscape to align DKNY Handbags with brand vision.
• Assist with seasonal hindsight reporting and channel-specific opportunities.
• Help implement seasonal pricing strategies to maintain margins and IMU goals.
• Partner with VP of Global Merchandising to develop seasonal assortment plans for department stores and wholesale channels.
• Collaborate with Sales, Design, Product Development, Production and Planning to execute assortments from concept to commercialization.
• Create and maintain product line sheets and ensure accuracy of product information and merchandising tools.
• Support in line reviews, customer presentations, sample tracking, showroom setup and seasonal recaps.
