Job summary

WEG is seeking an Electric Motor Winder to assemble and test electric motors. Responsibilities include hand inserting coils into stators, cutting wires, connecting tail wires, and hand welding wires to leads.

The role requires reading and following multiple instructions and maintaining a clean, safe workspace in line with company policies. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work independently or in a team, and have physical stamina to lift and move parts as needed.

Job Overview

Electric motor winders areresponsible for assembling and testing electric motors.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow multiple instructions at one time.
• Hand insert coils into the stators.
• Cut wires that are used for installation.
• Connect tail wires from the coils.
• Hand welding tail wires to the leads.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company policies and in line with our core values.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to lift motors with the hoist.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Physically capable of lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, pushing and pulling, and standing for 8 hour periods.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with Regal Rexnord policies and in line with Regal Rexnord core values.
• Manage assembly time/tasks to ensure completion of assigned projects within specified time frame.
• While performing the duties of this job, employees regularly stand and use hands and arms for the duration of their shift.
• Employees must regularly lift parts up to 35 pounds.
• Must be physically able to push/pull motors. Bending and stopping to lift items.
• Ability to work overtime as needed
