Job summary

Spine & Sport Physical Therapy in Indio, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in hand therapy and upper extremity care. The role offers a sign-on/relocation bonus and welcomes new graduates.

You will join a collaborative outpatient team focused on exceptional patient care and clinical excellence. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating upper-extremity conditions, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and guiding patients through personalized therapy plans.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required.
• New graduates welcome; clinical experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and plan OT programs focusing on upper extremity and hand therapy.
• Provide OT treatments including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, ADL training and adaptive equipment provision.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and activities to maximize independence.
• Document evaluations, progress, and treatment plans accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
