Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and NY State OT license (or temporary permit with license within 3 months). BLS or CPR/AED certification is required at entry.

Responsibilities

• Initial assessment and evaluation of OT needs for assigned patient populations.
• Implements OT treatment plans and protocols according to current standards.
• Completes documentation for patient care and reimbursement in the medical chart as required by JC/CARF.
• Teaches and supervises fieldwork students and other learners in occupational therapy techniques and procedures.
