Job summary

Movement For Life INC is seeking a Physical Therapist Aide - Hand Therapy in Santa Maria, CA to assist therapists in a private outpatient setting. This part-time role supports patient care, prepares treatment areas, and helps with intake under supervision.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, is comfortable with HIPAA, and can lift 25–50 pounds while assisting patients with mobility. Knowledge of basic office software is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher; background in Kinesiology is a plus.
• Experience with HIPAA compliance is preferred.
• Ability to assist therapists and patients with mobility and exercises.

Responsibilities

• Use professional etiquette at all times.
• Assist Director with miscellaneous tasks and projects.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Greet patients and escort them to treatment/exercise areas.
• Assist with patient history and intake information when necessary.
• Assist therapists with procedures and modalities as directed.
• Demonstrate, educate and monitor patients through exercise programs.
• Document patient charts as instructed by the therapist.
