Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and implement OT programs for patients to regain daily living skills. You will work with patients to improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being and help them engage in meaningful activities.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a wide interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care in outpatient orthopedic settings across LA.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Previous experience in a clinical or rehab setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, critical thinking, and teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care.
  • Administer occupational therapy treatments including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, ADL training, and adaptive equipment as needed.
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques, home exercises, and adaptive strategies to maximize independence.
  • Regularly reassess patients' progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Meet needs of patient executing Plan of Care, including follow-up for noncompliance.
  • Be a team player utilizing nonclinical staff to support caseload needs.
  • Delegate to COTA as appropriate.
  • Drive a collaborative culture based on our service vision.
  • Adapt to changes in patient schedules and daily workflow.
  • Stay updated on advancements in occupational therapy techniques and best practices.

Pay Range: $40.00 - 55.00 Hourly Rates featuring incentives that add to your total package and rates dependent on experience, location, and job-related factors.

Incentives: Increase your total compensation package with Productivity Incentives that reward your patient care access and are pro-rated for part-time hours worked.

Location: Clinic locations throughout areas such as Downey, Torrance, Long Beach, and more throughout Los Angeles county.

Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic, CHT or Hands Experience strong preferred

Schedule: Flexible Per Diem or part-time options to fit your schedule

About The Role
