The role requires licensed OT with NBCOT certification, BLS, and a strong commitment to hand therapy, with weekend/holiday duties as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT, OTD, or equivalent).
• Active Board of Certification credential and licensed with the State of Nebraska; BLS certification required; driver’s license required.
• Commitment to hand therapy as a clinical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients of all ages and diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
• Provide 1-1 hand therapy and comprehensive OT services.
• Fabricate orthotics including static and dynamic splints and casts.
• Collaborate with orthopedic/hand surgeons in a shared clinical environment.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries per policy.
• Attend mandatory meetings and mentor students as assigned.
