Job summary

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon at our Lutherville-Timonium Medical Center. This position offers a practice mix heavily focused on hand and upper extremity surgery with substantial OR block time and in-office procedures, supported by the MAPMG network.

We seek MD or DO physicians who are board-certified or eligible in Orthopedic Surgery with Hand and Upper Extremity fellowship, licensed or able to obtain licenses in DC, MD,

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Hand and Upper Extremity fellowship required.

Responsibilities

• Practice mix of 75-80% hand and upper extremity in office consultations and 80-90% hand and upper extremity surgery.
• OR block time 2-3 days per week with 1 day per week of in-office procedures (carpal tunnel, trigger fingers, etc.).
• Call schedule currently 1:6 with general orthopedic call shared in the group.
• Physician assistant support in office for consultations and follow-ups.
• Collaborative network of 8 hand surgeons across MAPMG service areas.
