Britt Medical Search is recruiting a full-time Hand Surgeon for an established academic surgical team in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on trauma care, inpatient and outpatient hand care, and active involvement in resident education within a major teaching hospital.

You will collaborate with a general surgery trauma team, serve as a faculty member in the Department of Surgery, and participate in on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in the appropriate surgical specialty.
• Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand, or board certification/eligibility in Surgery of the Hand.
• Strong interest in trauma, academic medicine, and resident education.
• Commitment to collaborative, team-based patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care for elective, urgent, and emergent hand conditions.

Job description

An established academic surgical team in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a full-time Hand Surgeon with a strong interest in trauma care, academics, and resident education.

Position Highlights:

• Join a busy hand surgery practice with a strong emphasis on trauma care
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care for elective, urgent, and emergent hand conditions
• Collaborate with a dedicated general surgery trauma team
• Serve as a faculty member within the Department of Surgery
• Participate in resident education and supervision, including general surgery, surgical podiatry, and plastic surgery rotators
• Assist the Hand Section Chief with clinical service line development
• Contribute to on‑call coverage and multidisciplinary patient management
• Practice in an academic environment affiliated with a major teaching hospital and medical center
