Job summary

WVU Medicine is seeking an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join the WVUHS Medical Group in Charles Town, WV. The successful candidate will practice in the hand surgery area within a comprehensive orthopedics team, offering diagnosis, treatment and surgery.

Applicants must have an MD or DO degree, complete an Orthopedic Surgery residency, and a Hand Surgery fellowship. Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery and WV licensure eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
• Hand Surgery fellowship
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery required by time of appointment

Responsibilities

• Practice in the area of hand surgery as part of WVU Medicine’s Orthopedic and Sports Medicine providers
• Provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment and surgical care of hand and upper extremity conditions
