Job summary

Healthcare Outcomes Performance Co. (HOPCo) in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible orthopedic hand surgeon. This role has an established patient panel, dedicated OR time, and support from Advanced Practice Providers to enhance efficiency in patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), completion of an accredited orthopedic residency, and the board certification in orthopedic surgery. Certifications in ACLS and BLS are also required.

Qualifications

• Must be board-certified/board-eligible orthopedic hand surgeon.
• Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids.
• Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage direct patient care including evaluations and treatment.
• Participate in available OR times and manage surgical rooms.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans for patients.

Skills

Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for delivery of medical care

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to supervise and train clinical professionals

Knowledge of Community medical diagnostic services

Education

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

Completion of an accredited residency program in Orthopedic Surgery

Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery

Valid medical license to practice in Arizona

Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
