Tomjames is seeking a Hand Seamstress to support our hand sewn operations in a production setting. The role emphasizes accuracy, consistency, and meeting customer specifications while working independently and with a team.

You will handle textiles such as cotton, silk, viscose, wool, and nylon, perform repetitive motions, and maintain a tidy work area. We value detailed workmanship and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately follow work orders to meet customer/product specifications
• Focus on precision first and then pace
• Quality check work for neat seams and correct stitching
• Identify flaws/variations in different patterns and color identification
• Handle materials such as cotton, silk, viscose, wool, nylon, etc.
• Work with team members to coordinate workflow and resolve issues
• Keep work area tidy
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Attention to detail and consistency
