Job summary

Ultimate Granite and Stone Surfaces is seeking a skilled Hand Fabricator and Installer to transform raw stone into beautiful countertops and features for our clients. You will fabricates and installs with precision, using hand tools, grinders and polishers to meet exact specifications and fit tolerances.

This role requires strong craftsmanship, physical fitness, safety discipline, and the ability to read blueprints and follow job specs. We value craftsmanship, teamwork, and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in natural stone fabrication and installation (or relevant experience).
• Strong knowledge of hand tools, grinders, polishers, and other equipment used in stone working.
• Excellent craftsmanship skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specifications.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• A commitment to safety and a clean work environment.
• Successful completion of a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Hand Fabricate: Use hand tools, grinders, and polishers to create countertops and projects per specifications.

Ultimate Granite and Stone is searching for a skilled Hand Fabricator to join our growing team. In this exciting role, you'll play a vital part in transforming raw stone into stunning countertops and other features for our valued customers.

This position is a unique blend of hands‑on fabrication and meticulous installation. You'll:

• Hand Fabricate:Utilize your expertise with hand tools, grinders, and polishers to create and finish natural and engineered stone countertops and projects according to precise specifications.
• Technical Expertise:Possess a strong understanding of construction principles and hands‑on skills for countertop fabrication. Maintain precise dimensions within a tolerance of 1/16\" for a seamless fit.
• Physical Strength:Maintain good physical fitness to lift and carry completed countertops
• Adaptability:Think on your feet! Effectively problem‑solve and adapt to unforeseen circumstances to ensure project success.

To be successful, you'll have:
