• Jobs may be of short duration requiring frequent change in set-up and variation of individual cycles.
• Has moderate control over product quality.
• Works from specific written or verbal instructions and general operating practices, requiring application of some judgment and selectivity.
• Sets up machines requiring interaction of several variables.
• Loads raw material into the machine, manually operates, varying and modifying the cycle, and unloads the finished product.
• Performs additional operations manually or using simple machines.
• Checks products routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring devices.
• Adjusts set-up and process operation accordingly.
• Maintains production records and monitors product quality against established control charts.
