Job summary

STF is seeking a Production Manifestor to scale combos and vats of product and ensure accurate manifests, weights, and labels before leaving the floor. The role also requires organizing the green meats cooler, hand manifesting partials, and deleting manifests for returned product.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and preferably 1+ year in meat processing; Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately scale all combos and/or vats of product.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

A high school diploma or GED preferred. One or more years' experience in meat processing, or closely related industry is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as needed. Spanish Bilingual skills preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely works near moving mechanical parts, moving power trucks and is exposed to wet, cold and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually at a level wear OSHA required hearing protection is required.

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE:

The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management.
