Job summary

Fresh Mark, Inc. is hiring Ham Packaging Team Members for the Salem, OH facility on 1st and 2nd shifts. Responsibilities include packaging, inspecting, labeling, and preparing ham products while upholding food safety and quality standards. Training is provided and opportunities for career growth exist.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour on 1st shift and $16.50 per hour on 2nd shift, plus a $400 probationary completion bonus and weekly pay. Full-time, on-site positions with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Work in a cool food manufacturing environment
• Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Package, wrap, seal, and prepare ham products for shipment
• Inspect products for quality, appearance, weight, and specs
• Weigh and label products accurately
• Operate or assist with packaging equipment and production machinery
• Monitor product quality throughout the packaging process
• Move materials and finished products throughout the department
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
• Work efficiently to meet production goals and daily targets
• Communicate with team members and supervisors
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE
• Perform general labor duties as assigned
