Job summary

Encanterra Country Club is seeking a Hairstylist to deliver hair and salon services in a premium spa environment. The role supports a healthy, client-focused setting and reports to the Spa & Fitness Director.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of customer service and hairstyling experience, maintains current licenses, and participates in ongoing CEU programs. The position requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends, with potential for full-time eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year previous customer service and hairstylist/salon experience preferred.
• Must maintain all current licenses and certifications that are required on a state and local level.
• Participate in continuing education courses (CEU), if required by the state for license renewal and remain current on techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintain BlueStar Experience by upholding standards and policies.
• Keep professional, confidential client relationships while using universal precautions.
• Assess contraindications and potential service limitations for clients.
• Engage with clients during sessions about interests and needs.
• Report incidents to Wellness Director and document treatments.
• Maintain client cards and service records with notes.
• Perform all treatments listed on the service menu within certified scope.
• Know spa services and suggest related treatments to guests.
• Explain ingredients, product benefits, and recommend home-use items with 25% service-to-sales ratio.
