Sharkey's Cuts for Kids in Omaha seeks a friendly Hair Stylist to serve children and families. Provide full salon services, including hair cutting, styling, and blow-drying, while delivering excellent customer care in a fun, kid-focused environment.

Flexibility is key with afternoon and weekend hours; competitive pay starts at $50 per hour with tips and commissions. The team emphasizes work-life balance, ongoing training, and a casual dress code.

Qualifications

• Nebraska cosmetology license required.
• Ability to work with kids (0–14) and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide full salon services, including hair cutting, shampooing, blow drying, and styling.
• Listen to and communicate with clients to ensure their complete satisfaction and provide excellent service.
• Ensure all services meet high quality standards.
• Keep on top of current hair cutting and styling trends.
• Maintain cleanliness of salon and apply hygiene practices across all beauty stations.
• Able to work when customers needs us, afternoons through 7 on the weekdays, 10-5 weekends. No late shifts required.
• Rotating weekend availability highly preferred.
