Job summary

Belk Salon seeks a talented Hair Stylist to deliver professional hair, nail, and skin services to clients. You will report to the Salon Manager and participate in ongoing in-salon and external education programs to grow skills.

We value team players who are goal-oriented, passionate about hair, and eager to learn. Weekly in-salon training and outside classes are provided to help you stay at the top of your craft.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current cosmetology license.
• Two to five years experience in the cosmetology or cosmetic industry preferred.
• Ongoing continuing education on products, services, and current issues relating to the industry.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed personal service and retail sales goals.
• Acknowledge the client within a reasonable time of check-in.
• Build a client base by recruiting New Request Clients and maintaining Customer Client Cards.
• Provide quality professional service through technical skills and recommending appropriate retail products.
• Respond professionally to customer service issues and address complaints.
• Exhibit good communication skills.
• Engage in ongoing education on products, services, and industry trends.
