Hair Stylist Assistant - Rossano Ferretti

Our hair salon is looking for a Hair Stylist Assistant who has a passion for skilled cutting, styling and hair coloring. The right candidate willcollaborate closely with colorists and stylists, providing essential support to client services, ensuring the salon’s cleanliness, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Furthermore, the ideal candidate will pay close attention to detail in assisting our stylist and have an understanding of the latest hair styles. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about hair care and always treats customers with courtesy and respect.

Duties & Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all clients' needs are met and their overall satisfaction is high.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present a clean, neat, and professional appearance in compliance with company policy.
• Be familiar with the health and safety regulations.
• Understand the principles of hair care.
• Prepare clients for color services by base-lining their hairline, brushing their hair out, draping them in a towel, greeting them, securing their purses in a protective bag, and setting up the stylist’s tray.
• Assist stylists with client services, encompassing shampooing, color services, blow-drying, removal of extensions, and preparation of hair extensions and tools.
• Prepare workstations and maintain cleanliness and preparedness.
• Ensure the salon space is immaculate and organized.
• Assist in managing inventory and restocking supplies.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of all products and services offered at the salon, including the Rossano Ferretti brand.
• Engage in retail activities and upsell products/services to guests
• Cultivate, maintain, and build client relationships, while providing consistent, qualitative exceptional service.
• When not assisting a client at the sink, be present in the stylist’s workspace to facilitate smooth communication and minimize interruptions.
• Adhere to any additional tasks assigned by the stylists to maintain a seamless, high-end, and professional day.
• Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.

Hourly Range - $17.00 - $18.00

Qualifications

Cosmetology training, experience, or a relevant license/permit as required by local regulations.
