Hair Stylist Apprentice

What We're Looking For

Anita Kurl Salon is one of the top curly salons in the metro Boston area, and we are looking to expand our team by teaching and coaching up-and-coming stylists about mastering curly hair. The goal of this position is to become a Curl Master, and we are here to help you get there. We have a 3-step Master Apprenticeship Program with the end goal of being a fully trained Curl Specialist, that is solely based upon your personal pace and drive.

Responsibilities

This position primarily focuses on maintenance of the salon, laundry and assisting the stylists, while continuing your education in the salon. Upon completion of the apprentice program, additional duties are assigned, such as assisting in the washing, styling and diffusing process for clients.

Requirements

This position does require a Cosmetology License, however, Cosmetology Students pursuing a Cosmetology License who have completed 300 or more hours of cosmetology education in the state of MA, are also welcome to apply. Upon completion of cosmetology school, the position will become Full-Time.
