Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a professional Stylist to deliver a full range of hair services in our LifeSpa and Salon at the club. You will tailor cuts, colors, highlights, and treatments to enhance each guest's well-being and club experience.

You will educate guests on LifeSpa products and services, stay current with industry trends and techniques, and maintain salon standards while supporting sales of products and services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Cosmetology school completed required.
• 1–3 years of stylist experience preferred.
• Cosmetology license in the state of work required.
• Ability to perform hair services and treatments.

Responsibilities

• Provides individualized hair services and treatments meeting clients' needs.
• Educates clients on LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments.
• Serves as an expert in hair analysis and maintenance while staying current in style and technique.
• Promotes LifeSpa and Salon products, services and treatments.
• Keeps certifications and stays updated on industry trends.
• Maintains workspace to salon standards.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Provides individualized hair services and treatments that meet the clients’ needs and expectations
• Educates clients on LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments to assist them in maintaining their style
• Serves as an expert in hair analysis, maintenance regimens while staying current in style and technique
• Promotes all LifeSpa and Salon products, services and treatments
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
• Maintains work stations to salon standards

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completed Cosmetology school
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a stylist
• Cosmetology license in state where work is performed
• Ability to perform various types of hair services and treatments
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and commissions
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Requirements

• Experience as a stylist in a professional setting
• Knowledge in Salon Biz software
