Responsibilities

• Consult with clients about preferences, goals, and maintenance; explain service options clearly.
• Perform haircuts, styling, coloring, extensions, and hair care services; apply color theory to guide choices.
• Provide related services such as straight-razor barbering, hair threading, makeup, and nail care when qualified.
• Maintain clean tools and work areas, follow sanitation practices, and use MINDBODY to manage appointments and client records.
• Support retail recommendations and upselling; assist with store management and mentoring colleagues as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience working in the beauty industry and demonstrated skills in cosmetology, hair styling, hair coloring, and customer service.
• Strong communication and client communication skills, with a welcoming, attentive approach.
• NJ state cosmetology license.
