Job summary

SMARTSTYLE SALON, located inside Walmart, is seeking a Hair Stylist / Designer to deliver exceptional guest experiences and a range of services including cuts, color, and specialty offerings. The role supports a busy salon with modern tools, training, and a team-driven environment.

You will consult with guests, perform requested services efficiently, and uphold high standards of service while adapting to a dynamic schedule and salon workflow.

Qualifications

• Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state regulations.
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Comfortable using technology and performing basic administrative tasks, including closing out the salon system when required.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service, understand each guest’s needs, provide quality consultations, and perform requested services efficiently and professionally.
• Deliver services such as haircut, color, highlights, waxing, or other specialty services per guest requests.
