Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a Research Salon Technician to perform services using clinical protocols to support testing of retail and professional hair products, focusing on color application, formulation and evaluation.

You will conduct shampooing, conditioning, styling, color treatments, and maintain detailed documentation; the role reports on-site five days a week and collaborates with partners in hair care, marketing and education.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, experience in lieu of degree, Cosmetologist Operator License; Salon Manager License preferred.
• Professional hair services and hair color formulation experience are required.
• Proficiency with computer/tablet software for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing activities: shampooing, conditioning, hair styling and color treatments.
• Complete testing profiles, evaluations and service records with accurate documentation.
• Maintain salon cleanliness and ensure compliance with state board laws.
• Collaborate with partners in hair care, marketing and education to support development.
