Job summary

Madison Reed is seeking a General Manager - Licensed Cosmetologist to lead a Madison Reed Hair Color Bar, drive guest satisfaction, and build the business through team development and community engagement.

The role requires weekend/holiday availability and reports to the District Manager. Base pay starts at $70,304 with potential monthly bonuses, reflecting geography, skills, and experience.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the applying state, required.
• 2+ years of salon and retail experience.
• 2+ years of operational management experience.
• 2+ years supervising, hiring, training and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver top guest experiences.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals for retail, services and memberships.
• Oversee scheduling, front-of-house operations, and compliance with SOPs.
• Demonstrate mastery of Madison Reed services and, when needed, work behind the chair.
• Recruit, onboard, coach and develop staff; manage performance and schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory and asset security.
