Job summary

REACH Air Medical Services in Merced, CA is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide critical medical air transport. You will work with a team of medical experts, ensure aircraft readiness under FAR and REACH procedures, and maintain accurate documentation and logs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with dispatch, flight crews and facilities, conducting shift handoffs, and upholding certifications and ongoing training. Pay range listed as $141,599–$155,762 with bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter Instrument Rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 2,000 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• Minimum 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours.
• Minimum 100 cumulative hours of instrument flight time.
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to transport customers safely.
• Ensure aircraft readiness per manuals, FAR and REACH requirements.
• Maintain REACH and regulatory documentation and records; communicate with dispatch and crew.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot following protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
