Job summary

World Bank is seeking a senior SAP BODS Developer in Washington, DC, with hybrid work flexibility. The role requires extensive ETL experience, SAP data extraction, and cloud data platform knowledge. Day 1 involves 4 days on-site with plans to move to full on-site as organization transitions.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate mastery of SAP BODS, FI/CO data flows, SQL, and data warehousing concepts, including SCD types 1 and 2, to support complex data integration projects.

Title: SAP BODS Developer

Client: World Bank

Location: Washington, DC #Hybrid

About: The client is specifically looking for senior-level professionals with a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in the relevant domain.

Core Skill Requirements

• Strong expertise in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) for ETL development.
• Experience with SAP ERP modules, specifically Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO), related to data extraction and reporting.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure Data Lake Gen 2 (ADLS Gen 2) storage and data integration concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and database lookups.
• Experience with data transfer methods including SFTP, flat files, IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including star schema, snowflake schema, and slowly changing dimensions (SCD Type 1 & 2).
