Praxis Health is a family of medical groups providing high-quality healthcare in Oregon. A Gynecology Medical Assistant (MA) is needed at our High Lakes Gynecology clinic to assist providers during exams and procedures, prep rooms, document vitals in EMR, educate patients, and coordinate labs and referrals in a supportive, fast-paced women's health setting.

The role offers a four-day work week, strong team collaboration, and opportunities to grow skills while delivering patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of experience in OB/GYN or Women’s Health (preferred).
  • Current BLS certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Assist providers during exams and minor in-office procedures.
  • Prepare patients and exam rooms with professionalism and compassion.
  • Document vital signs and medical history in EMR.
  • Educate patients and provide clear post-procedure instructions.
  • Maintain sterile environments and manage instrument care.
  • Coordinate lab work, follow-ups, and referrals with accuracy and care.

What You’ll Do:
  • Assist providers during exams and minor in‑office procedures

What We’re Looking For:
  • High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
  • 1+ years of experience in OB/GYN or Women’s Health(preferred)
  • Current BLS certification(preferred)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask and stay detail‑oriented in a fast‑paced setting

General Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, or crouch.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings.

This position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis‑B vaccination series.
