Indiana University Health is seeking a GYN-only physician for the IU Health Bloomington Hospital, focused on clinic-based gynecology and OR-based surgical care with no obstetrics. You will serve Bloomington and surrounding communities, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and utilizing minimally invasive and robotic platforms.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient gynecologic care in a clinic setting.
• Perform a full spectrum of gynecologic surgeries in the OR, with focus on minimally invasive and robotic approaches.
• Collaborate with OB/GYN generalists, hospitalists, CNMs, NPs, and imaging/ anesthesia teams.
• Contribute to a modern perioperative environment with access to imaging, ultrasound, and colposcopy services.

Join a collaborative women’s health team at the modern, state-of-the-art IU Health Bloomington Hospital, where Magnet-designated nursing excellence and an integrated, team-based model support high-quality gynecologic care. IU Health is seeking a GYN-Only physician to focus on clinic-based gynecology and OR-based surgical care—no obstetrics—serving patients from Bloomington and the surrounding suburban, semi-rural, and rural communities. This role is ideal for surgeons who value collegiality, a supportive culture, and the ability to tailor their practice toward minimally invasive and robotic GYN surgery.

Position Highlights

• GYN-only practice: No OB call or deliveries.
• Outpatient clinic with a balanced mix of preventive care, complex gynecologic evaluation, and longitudinal management.
• OR time for a full spectrum of gynecologic procedures, with strong access to minimally invasive and robotic platforms.
• Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including OB/GYN generalists, OB hospitalists, CNMs (for coordinated women’s health needs), NPs, pelvic floor therapy, imaging, and anesthesia.
• Modern perioperative environment and streamlined access to advanced imaging, ultrasound, and colposcopy services.
