Job summary

Unified Women’s Healthcare in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Full Time Gynecologist to join an established private practice with an excellent local reputation and a strong hospital network.

Clinic hours are Monday–Thursday, 9am–5pm; Fridays close at 2pm. No OB/L&D, but substantial surgical opportunities, in‑office ultrasound, and teaching with local universities.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN
• Unrestricted state medical license
• DEA license or ability to obtain
• Minimum 2 years of gynecologic surgical experience

Responsibilities

• Provide gynecologic patient care in a busy private practice
• Perform surgical procedures as needed
• Collaborate with hospital and subspecialists
• Engage in teaching opportunities with local universities

Overview

Unified Women’s Healthcare is the leading national platform for women’s healthcare. Our affiliated practice is seeking a Full Time Gynecologist.

Position Highlights

• Established, busy private practice with an excellent local reputation
• Current team includes: 3 GYN physicians, 2 PA-Cs, 2 APRNs
• Adding a 4th GYN physician due to growth in volume and demand
• Existing patient base
• No OB, No Deliveries, No L&D Call; shared GYN Emergency Call only.
• Patient volume: approximately 20–25 patients per day in office
• State-of-the‑art office with in‑office surgical suites and modern technology
• In office ultrasound, 3D mammography
• Strong surgical opportunity with block time at hospital 2 days per week
• Strong hospital support and physician connections including Gyn Oncology, REI, Urogynecology, and General surgery
• Teaching opportunities with FSU/USF
• Reasonable, flexible work schedule - clinic is open Monday - Thursday, 9am - 5pm; office closes at 2pm on Fridays
