Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Gynecologic Oncology Physician for locum tenens support in Michigan. Start ASAP with a Monday–Friday schedule, weekend rotation, and 1:4 on-call. Case mix includes clinic and in-patient consults with chemo oversight transitioning to medical oncology.

Board eligibility or certification, MI license, and BLS/ACLS are required. AMN Healthcare provides malpractice insurance and handles travel, lodging, and transportation for contractors.

Qualifications

• Board certification or board eligible in Gynecologic Oncology.
• Active MI license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Clinic and in-patient consults in gynecologic oncology.
• Chemo oversight discussions now managed by medical oncology.
• Schedule includes Monday–Friday with weekend rotation and 1:4 on-call.

This facility is seeking a Gynecology Oncology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and Requirements for this Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday; rotation of weekends. 1:4 call

• Practice Setting: Hospital Based - Level 1 trauma

• Types of Cases: Clinic and in-patient consults; Gynecology cases; Discussion of chemo oversight - currently transitioned to medical oncology

• Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days

• Certifications Required: Board certification or board eligible; Basic Life Support; Advanced Cardiac Life Support

• Licensure Required: Active MI license required
