Stamford Health's Stamford Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible gynecologic oncologist to serve as Director of Gynecologic Oncology within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The role offers leadership of a mature program with a strong referral base and a platform to expand cancer services.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible gynecologic oncologist.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care in gynecologic oncology (approximately 90% clinical effort)
• Contribute to administrative leadership of the program (approximately 10% effort)
• Teach and mentor OB/GYN residents and medical students
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with medical, surgical, and radiation oncology colleagues
• Engage in clinical research and support access to clinical trials
• Perform surgery in state-of-the-art operating rooms, including access to robotic platforms
• Participate in a light call schedule (1 week in 4) with urogynecologists
