Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA, seeks a fellowship-trained Gynecologic Oncologist to join our Oncology program. You will develop a practice within the Piedmont Oncology Service Line, collaborating with Medical, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, and GI teams.

Board-certified or eligible candidates from top fellowship programs welcome; this is a full-time role focused on high-quality patient-centered care, with opportunities for clinical trials and professional leadership within Piedmont.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained Gynecologic Oncologist required
• Board certification or eligibility in Gynecologic Oncology
• Ability to build and grow a practice
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Perform consultations and evaluations of patients.
• Perform surgical procedures including minimally invasive and robotic surgery.
• Prepare and oversee oncology treatment plans (chemo, radiation, and palliative care).
• Participate in community education and cancer survivor support.
• Hospital rounds on inpatients including surgical floor and ICU.
• Coordinate care with nursing, pharmacy, radiology and other service lines.
• Document H&Ps, consults, and progress notes on inpatients
