Job summary

Loudoun Valley high school within Loudoun County Public Schools is seeking a gymnastics assistant coach for the winter season (November–February). The role supports the head coach and works with the athletic department to run a structured program for student-athletes.

The position emphasizes teamwork, attendance at staff meetings, and helping with equipment, discipline, and fostering school pride. Prior coaching or sport participation at high school/college level is expected.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience or participation in the sport at high school or college level.
• Completion of CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in current CPR and First Aid training course.
• Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee for Loudoun County Public Schools.
• Prefer a Virginia Teaching License candidate or a full-time classified employee for LCPS.

Responsibilities

• To perform other duties related to the position of assistant athletic coach as requested by the high school principal and/or athletic director.
