Job summary

PureGym US in New York is seeking a Gym Floor Associate to greet members with enthusiasm, lead tours to sign up new memberships, and coordinate startup sessions with Blink Personal Trainers. You will handle front desk calls in a professional, energetic manner and ensure smooth opening/closing operations.

The role demands a high-energy team player with a passion for fitness and excellent communication skills, capable of lifting gym equipment and maintaining a spotless club environment.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly and personable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• World class customer service skills.
• Able to lift and move gym equipment weighing 15-20 lbs frequently and 45 lbs occasionally.
• Able to remain at the front desk for long periods.
• Willing to multi-task and solve problems.
• Passion for fitness.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in ensuring the club is spotless including frequent bending, lifting, and walking around the club to organize equipment and straighten up.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Job Overview

This role is called a Mood Lifter, but until that is a word job seekers are typing into Google, we will stick with using the more widely known title of Gym Floor Associate. What is a Mood Lifter, you ask? Mood Lifters are the people who greet each of our members with ear-to-ear smiles, over the top enthusiasm and pretty much know everyone in the club by name. They will run to open the door for you in a driving rainstorm and change a channel so you don’t miss a minute of the big game. They consistently go above and beyond and you can’t help but smile when you see them.

Responsibilities
