Job summary

Gold's Gym is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to keep the facility clean, safe, and welcoming for members. You will service the gym floor, locker rooms, offices, and common spaces, performing cleaning duties, maintaining equipment and supplies, and supporting the overall member experience.

Responsibilities include cleaning glass and mirrors, wiping surfaces, emptying trash, mopping floors, sanitizing bathrooms, dusting fixtures, and coordinating with staff to report maintenance issues.

Responsibilities

• Clean outside glass and interior mirrors.
• Wipe down equipment, doors, and floors as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles daily.
• Sweep and mop floors, stairwells, and staircases.
• Clean carpets and hard-surface floors as needed.
• Clean fitness equipment thoroughly.
• Clean bathrooms, including tiles, tubs, walls, sinks, and mirrors.
• Dust furniture and fixtures daily.
• Clean management offices daily.
• Mop and sweep lobby floors.
• Sweep, mop, remove trash, and dust locker rooms.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms & locker rooms.
• Toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors
• Showers and floors
• Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper.
• Buff locker/lobby room floors as needed.
• Clean Maintain and organize cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and vacuum cleaners.
• Ensure equipment is kept in good condition and stored properly.
• Clean vacuum cleaner bags or canisters daily.
• Stock carts with linens and supplies, keeping them organized according to training guidelines.
• Pick up debris on carpets and perform vacuuming as needed.
• Report maintenance or repair issues accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate professionally with gym staff and management.
