Job summary

Amsted Rail-Griffin Wheel, the leading manufacturer of railroad wheels in North America, seeks qualified individuals for the position of Laborer at our Groveport foundry. You will train and work in various areas of the molding department, with the ability to work without direct supervision and perform accurate data collection and entry.

The role offers an evening or night shift with daily and weekend overtime. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and pass screening and tests.

Job description

Amsted Rail-Griffin Wheel, the leading manufacturer of railroad wheels in North America, is currently seeking qualified individuals for position of Laborer for our Groveport foundry. The positions will train and work in various areas of the molding department in the manufacturing of railroad wheels. Must be able to work without direct supervision, be a self starter, and pay attention to details including accurate data collection/entry. The positions will be on either the evening (3:00 pm to 11:00 pm) or night shift (11:00 pm to 7:00 am) and daily and weekend overtime is required.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and successfully complete screening and skills tests prior to interviewing.

We offer very good compensation (starting wage is $24.06or higher depending on the position) and a comprehensive benefit package. Job offer contingent on background check and physical including drug screen.
