Job summary

Alpha Insulation and Gutters of Ohio is seeking a Gutter Technician in Wadsworth, OH to install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial gutter systems across multiple project types. You’ll measure, cut, and fit components to exact specs while ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety on site.

Ideal candidates will have experience with gutter systems, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work at heights in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial gutter systems.
• Measure, cut, and fit gutters, downspouts, soffit, fascia and trim to specs.
• Inspect gutters for damage and perform necessary repairs.
• Ensure proper alignment and secure attachment for optimal drainage.
• Operate tools safely and maintain a clean worksite.
• Coordinate with customers and team throughout projects.

We’re currently seeking a Gutter Technician to join our growing team at Alpha Insulation and Gutters of Ohio in Wadsworth, OH. The Gutter Technician is a key member of the operations team, responsible for overseeing gutter repair/installation across commercial, multi-family, and residential insulation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, replace, and maintain residential and commercial gutter systems.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install gutters, downspouts, soffit, fascia, and trim to project specifications.
• Inspect existing gutter systems to identify damage, drainage issues, and recommended repairs.
• Ensure proper alignment, pitch, and secure attachment of gutter systems for optimal water drainage.
• Perform gutter cleaning, maintenance, and debris removal as required.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other installation equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite before, during, and after each project.
• Follow company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members throughout each project.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.
• Assist with material inventory and ensure proper care of company tools and equipment.
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience installing, repairing, or maintaining gutter systems preferred.
• Experience with seamless gutter systems, soffit, fascia, or exterior carpentry is a plus.
• Ability to safely work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and aerial equipment.
• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Basic construction, carpentry, or exterior remodeling experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately read measurements and follow installation specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record preferred.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA safety knowledge or willingness to follow company safety procedures.

Working Conditions

• Work in all weather conditions
• Perform tasks at heights such as attics, ladders, scaffolding, and commercial ceilings.
• Enter tight or confined spaces, such as crawl spaces and mechanical rooms.
• Lift and carry insulation materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
