Job summary

Installed Building Solutions II is seeking a Gutter Installer to measure, cut, and install gutters and downspouts on residential and commercial properties. You will ensure gutters are properly attached, pitched for drainage, and installed safely while maintaining quality workmanship.

The role requires physical work outdoors, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift heavy materials. Training is available for the right candidate, with opportunities for growth within the Installed Building

Qualifications

• 1+ years exterior construction or gutter installation preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
• Able to read a tape measure accurately and operate hand/power tools.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Comfortable working at heights, lifting 50+ lbs, and working outdoors year-round.

Responsibilities

• Take accurate measurements of roofline to determine gutter length and quantity.
• Cut gutters to size using metal saw or guillotine cutter.
• Install hangers, brackets, and supports for secure gutters.
• Pitch gutters for proper water drainage.
• Install downspouts and related components.

Job description

As a Gutter Installer with Installed Building Solutions II you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing gutters, downspouts, and other related components on residential and commercial buildings. You will be responsible for ensuring that gutters are properly attached to the building and pitched correctly for proper water drainage.

Key Responsibilities

• Take accurate measurements of the building's roofline to determine the necessary length and number of gutters needed
• Cut gutters to size using specialized tools, such as a metal saw or guillotine cutter
• Install hangers, brackets, and other support structures to ensure that gutters are securely attached to the building
• Pitch gutters correctly to ensure proper water drainage
• Install downspouts and related components
• Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
• Follow all company policies and procedures

Role Requirements

• Experience: 1+ years of exterior construction, roofing, or specific gutter installation experience is highly preferred (but we are willing to train the right candidate).
• Skills: Ability to read a tape measure accurately, operate hand and power tools, and work safely with sheet metal.
• Requirements: A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Physicality: Comfortable working at heights, carrying 50+ lbs, and working outdoors year-round.

A gutter installer performs physical tasks like lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), climbing ladders, and working at heights. The job requires bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Manual dexterity is needed for using hand and power tools to install or repair gutters. Attention to detail and clear communication with team members and clients is essential. Pay

$22.00 - $40.00 per hour
