Gunite Top Finisher Venice position involves basic physical labor for placement and finishing of concrete, with growth into Nozzleman.

Essential duties include safety compliance, punctuality, tool operation, and ensuring architectural specs are met. Training in nozzleman role provided with potential advancement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Bottom Finisher experience.
• Must follow Health & Safety standards and promote safe work environment.
• Ability to read blueprints or architectural drawings.
• Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in concrete finishing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety standards are met by complying with legislation, company policies and promoting a safe work environment.
• Report to work on time when scheduled.
• Safely operates power equipment and hand tools while performing all duties in conformance to safety standards and established principles of structural concrete.
• Assists gunite crew with placement of plastic to protect area surrounding equipment and work areas.
• Assists gunite crew in setup/breakdown of jobsite tools and equipment.
• Works to ensure that the finished product meets the architectural specification(s).
