Solairus Aviation is seeking a Captain to safely operate a Gulfstream GV for discerning client travel, maintaining strict safety standards and exceptional service.

You will oversee preflight tasks, weather and route analysis, and trip documentation while ensuring compliance with FARs and company policies. The role requires extensive flight experience, a valid Gulfstream GV type rating, and readiness to relocate near KAUS, with on-call availability.

Formación

• 3,000 hours total time
• 1,500 hours PIC
• 1,500 hours multi-engine land
• 500 hours turbojet
• 250 hours instrument
• Gulfstream GV type rating or comparable
• Current FAA First-Class Medical
• Annual ICAO procedures training
• On-call availability
• Residence within two-hour drive of KAUS or willingness to relocate

The Opportunity

As Captain, you will be entrusted with the safe, efficient operation of a Gulfstream GV in support of discerning client travel needs. You'll fly to diverse destinations, uphold stringent safety standards, and ensure every trip reflects Solairus Aviation's commitment to exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Command GV operations in full compliance with company procedures and applicable FARs.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and records prior to each flight.
• Conduct thorough preflight inspections per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Analyze weather, facilities, route conditions, destination, and alternates to ensure safe dispatch.
• Safeguard passengers, crew, and aircraft; manage risks proactively and prudently.
• Complete all trip documentation accurately and on time.

What You Bring

• Flight experience: 3,000 hours total time; 1,500 hours PIC; 1,500 hours multi-engine land; 500 hours multi-engine land PIC; 500 hours turbojet; 250 hours instrument.
• Type rating: Gulfstream GV (or comparable) required.
• Medical: Current FAA First-Class Medical.
• Training: Annual ICAO international procedures training.
• Schedule: Availability to work on an on-call basis.
• Location: Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KAUS, or willingness to relocate.
