Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Gulfstream G500 Captain to join operations at the Opa-Locka (KOPF) airport. The successful candidate will lead flights, ensure safety, and manage flight paperwork in accordance with FAA regulations and Solairus policy.

Qualifications include 3000+ total hours, 1500+ PIC hours, 500+ turb jet time, and a Gulfstream G500 type rating or equivalent. First-class medical, annual ICAO training, and residency within 2 hours of KOPF or relocation are required.

Qualifications

• Total time must be 3000+ hours.
• PIC must be 1500+ hours.
• MEL = 1500+ hours; MEL PIC = 500+ hours.
• Turbojet time = 500+ hours.
• Instrument time = 250+ hours.
• Type rated on Gulfstream G500 or comparable aircraft.
• First class medical required.
• Must be able to work on an on-call basis.
• Must complete ICAO procedures training annually.
• Residence within 2 hours drive from KOPF or relocate.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe operation of the Gulfstream G500 aircraft.
• Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner.
• Review maintenance status of the aircraft.
• Perform pre-flight inspection per Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather and route facilities, including alternates.
• Ensure flight complies with Solairus Aviation policies and FAA regs.
• Ensure safety of passengers, aircraft and crew.
• Complete trip paperwork accurately.
