Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Gulfstream G500 Captain to lead flights at the KCMA airport in Camarillo, CA. The role emphasizes safe operation, adherence to regulations, and meticulous pre-flight and route assessments.

The ideal candidate will hold a Gulfstream G500 type rating (or be qualified on a comparable aircraft), possess a First Class medical, and be available for on-call duties with relocation within two hours of KCMA or willingness to relocate.

Qualifications

• Total time: 3000 hours.
• PIC: 1500 hours.
• MEL: 1500 hours.
• MEL PIC: 500 hours.
• Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours.
• Instrument: 250 hours.
• Type rated on Gulfstream G500 or comparable aircraft required.
• First class medical required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe operation of the Gulfstream G500 aircraft.
• Conduct flights safely and prudently per applicable regulations and SOPs.
• Review maintenance status of the aircraft.
• Perform thorough pre-flight inspections.
• Assess weather and route considerations, including alternate airports.
• Ensure flight and passenger safety; complete trip paperwork accurately.

Solairus crewmembers are paid $50,000 to $500,000 based on geographic area, experience, equipment type/aircraft, job duties, training, and the assigned account.
