Job summary

Executive Jet Management seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for Gulfstream 550 based in Miami, FL. You will perform all phases of troubleshooting, repair and maintenance to keep aircraft airworthy in compliance with FARs.

Requires 4–6 years of aircraft maintenance experience, ability to work on engines, landing gear, instruments, and cabin systems, plus travel for AOG support. EJM offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision, 401(k) plan with company match,

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience
• Ability to run and taxi owner aircraft
• Work on a lift platform 3 feet to 40 feet in the air
• Stand or sit for prolonged periods while performing repairs
• Operate tools including jacks, welders, torches, paint guns, sanders, and drill press
• Lift and move parts up to 70 pounds; assist with heavier items as needed
• Learn and use technical manuals; strong mechanical aptitude
• Able to communicate in writing and orally
• Travel to locations in all weather conditions for repairs
• Input and retrieve information from computers
• Operate basic hand tools
• Preference for local candidates with G550 training or similar aircraft size experience

Responsibilities

• Perform or oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft; inspect engines, landing gear, instruments and cabin systems
• Conduct inspections with precision instruments and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Travel to airports to repair owner aircraft (AOG) or coordinate repairs with outside vendors
• Perform receiving inspection on incoming parts and components
• Ensure safety, security and quality in line with the SMS program and report any non-compliance
